Extract from personal contribution to the zine, Sound by Elektra Stampoulou, 2020
Liminalia is a female collective constituted by Antigone Michalakopoulou, Natalia Papadopoulou, Olga Roussou, Elektra Stampoulou and Irini Kalaitzidi that was formed as part of a sci-fi writing workshop to contribute to the zine Extra-terrestrial Ethnographies of the Future-Present, 2020.
The collective embarked on tracking missions, using memes, news media, vlogs, archival images, political satire, peer commentary, and works of fiction (e.g., plague literature) as “data” to fabricate a collaborative sci–fi ethnography.
The zine can be found here.

We spent nights surfing on waves of quirkiness.
We boarded trains, projectors and spaceships.
We landed on uncanny places.
We are called Liminalia.
